General Information
The building is situated close to the primary school and village hall in the South Nesting area of Shetland, an attractive scenic area about 15 miles north of Lerwick. The location is also convenient for access to Brae / Sullom Voe to the north.
In addition to the school and hall where there is a small caravan and camping park, there is also a local shop just over a mile away which also sells fuel, and a community gym in the old school building just along the road from the chapel. A morning and evening feeder bus service connects with the main bus service to Lerwick.

The chapel is a single storey detached building, the main part being stone-built. Windows are uPVC double glazed and heating is provided by electric storage heaters although these have not been used for some time and no warranties will be given.
The rateable value is understood to currently be £1,900. Prospective purchasers should however contact Shetland Islands Council directly for confirmation.
The property is being sold in its current condition. No warranties will be given in respect of any contents or services.
Accommodation
Entry to the property is via a wood-lined hallway with doors to a toilet, office / kitchen, and the main chapel space.
The wet-walled lined toilet comprises a WC and wash hand basin. Harper Macleod LLP were excellent in the sale of my house. This was my first house sale and from the beginning of the process to the end they provided brilliant support and guidance. The process was made simple for me and each step was explained fully. They were very efficient and effective with communications.
